I cannot begin to adequately describe the sublime experience of discovering Urbani Artichokes and Truffles! I live in Dallas Texas and received my first can in a gift basket. After I tried my first can, I was “hooked”!!!
It turns any food into a gourmet experience! I use it on top of chicken, or fish, or beef!!
All exquisite!!! I drove to two different Central Market Stores in Dallas looking for more cans, but they didn’t have the truffles with Artichokes, so when Urbani allowed me to order them delivered to my residence, I was thrilled. I hope they repeat the same offer, because I find that I’m giving these cans away to my friends as gifts!!
AND, that’s not the end of it!!! Besides, being DELICIOUS, it happily turns out that Artichokes are GOOD for you!!! Artichokes have fiber, protein and folate, Vit.K, magnesium and vit.C.

I ordered the truffles for my husband’s birthday. They arrived overnight and were beautiful! Fresh and ready to enjoy! I made a favorite of ours pasta with truffle butter sauce with some Parmesan sprinkled on top. Simple but delicious!

I discovered a winning combination for an easy quick and delicious appetizer...Truffle chips with a soft french cheese such as brie or d'affinois..
No aroma after shaving over warm carbonara. I thought I didn't make the noodles hot enough, so I made another batch of carbonara and shaved my other truffle on top of it, and it also was a dud. A sad experience.
Made truffle pasta with butter, grated Parmesan, and organic black truffle sauce. It was simple...and simply divine!!!
Originally was given a shipment of black truffles that I think got spoiled in the transfer of them to me in the shipping. These guys jumped to the occasion and followed up with either providing a full refund or sampling of the other type of truffle Winter truffle. Accidents happen and we're all human but how you handle the situation is what separates you from this competition. Now after trying the winter, it was not much better so after talking to customer service they have advised they will give me a full refund. I will give them 4 stars, 1 shy of 5 due to the truffles not being good but the customer service is very good.
The white truffle butter added a very distinct and outstanding flavor to the Mac and cheese recipe that I just made. It was a dinner party hit. The there were no leftovers.
My experience with fresh truffles is marginal. I enjoy the strong earthy and pungent flavor of truffles but now I understand the flavor of Black Summer Truffles is mild, somewhat nutty rather than pungent. The truffles were fresh and easily incorporated into various sauces. I am extremely impressed with the customer service of Urbani Truffles, as they replaced the order after I mentioned being disappointed with the original shipment. I hope to purchase truffles from them in the future.
The truffle butter has a good taste. I enjoyed using it on toast, pasta and steak.
