Shipping Info & Operating Hours

  • All orders must be placed by 3pm EST / 12pm PST to ship the same day.
    Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking email.
    • Orders placed on Friday will ship the following Monday.
      If you want your order to be delivered on Saturday, you must place your order by Friday, 3pm ET/12pm PT and select Saturday Delivery at checkout (premium charge).
  • Requests for specific shipment dates CANNOT be accommodated.
  • All perishable items are shipped Priority Overnight (fresh truffles, caviar, butter, frozen products).
  • All other items are shipped Ground. Allow 5-7 business days for delivery.
  • Delivery times vary between 8am-8pm local time and may be impacted by inclement weather or National holidays.
  • Orders placed for Pick Up will need to be pick up within 48 hours

    • Orders placed on Thursday, December 19th will arrive Friday, December 20th with overnight delivery
    • Orders placed Friday, December 20th by 3pm will arrive Saturday, December 21st, delivery with overnight Saturday Delivery
    • Orders placed on Monday, December 23rd for arrival on December 24th. Please note: Christmas Eve delivery is not guaranteed, subject to Fedex delivery.

Black truffle gift basket: beautiful products, oil a bit strong

These are gorgeous products in a lovely gift set--definitely high end gourmet. I tried the oil, the chocolate, the nuts and the salt. It is a testament to Urbani's quality that these are not just named truffle flavored, they are intensely flavorful. I found it a bit much for me, though.

I love black/summer/white truffles, especially in sauces and oils. But I guess I don't have a really experienced palate, because I found the nuts and oils in this basket overwhelmingly flavored, with almost a bitter aftertaste. I will keep trying these, though, especially the 2 sauces. Not for the faint of heart! Maybe this level of truffle flavor is acquired?

Anyway, 5 stars for delivering top quality items as described, in beautiful packaging and with fast shipping for a very reasonable price, considering the generous quantity and high quality. (It's not the company's fault I like milder truffle flavors.)
