You can smell the good quality truffle and the texture of the chip is amazing!

Ill start off by saying, im much more of a fan of white truffles... that being said, this stuff is great! Its warm and earthy, with a little taste of the underlying obviously high quality olive oil.

The truffle flavor in the burrata is perfectly balanced: gently nuanced and soulful. My only quibble is a small one: The skin of the cheese could be a little more delicate.

If you like truffle, you can sauté this with anything you want

Delicious! Melt it in heavy cream and add to mashed potatoes. The white truffle butter is just as delicious, not as pungent. Turns an ordinary dish into extraordinary.

Took 2 oz to Las Vegas last weekend and shaved them at our table on lobster rolls, Mac and cheese, deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, steaks and mushrooms. Our favorite sushi bar actually took one in the back for us and used them in two of the courses we had! Mostly we shaved our own at the table and our servers always said what a great idea. Last night we grated the leftover bits in a simple pasta water/starch butter pecorino basil dish that was incredibly simple and sublime. Recently been seeing AI generated ads for “California farm raised truffles” and whenever I see them I leave a comment that these products are a scam and if they want the real thing, Urbani is the only place in the US that provides consistent high quality products at a fair price.
Planning on getting more when the winter ones arrive, and some caviar for the new year.

The original arrival was not as fragrant/flavorful as I expected. After reading my reaction, Urbani graciously replaced the truffle after inquiring when it would be convienent for me. The replacement arrived on time and beatifully packaged with a perfect replacement. First class treatment.
